Skills and Competencies.

• 1-3 years in data extraction, transformation, loading (ETL), and visualization, with a strong ability to work with and analyze large datasets.
• Proficiency in summarizing and communicating analytical findings effectively.
• Ability to follow guidelines, adapt processes, and modify methods as needed.
• Proven expertise in using visualization tools, with Power BI as a key requirement.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook).
• Experience with scripting languages (e.g., R, Python) and relational/multidimensional databases (e.g., SQL, Hyperion) is a plus.

Education

• Undergraduate degree in Finance, Accounting, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics or other quantitative/technology field required.

Responsibilities

• The Analyst supports the delivery of medium-complexity Business Intelligence (BI) and data solutions for internal stakeholders, while assisting the Data and Analytics team at the project level.
• Assist senior team members in assessing current processes by mapping workflows and identifying data inputs/outputs.
• Support senior team members with the documentation of business and technical requirements for BI solutions.
• Collaborate on the creation of data models and visualizations for medium-complexity BI solutions, with minimal supervision.
• Review and optimize existing BI solutions by incorporating best practices, under senior team guidance.
• Translate business requirements into potential BI solutions for senior team review.
• Identify and suggest fixes for bugs in BI solutions.
• Maintain data models and dashboards to support key business decisions.

The Finance Transformation, Data and Systems team enables the Finance department with the accessibility of data, technology and analytic / BI solutions.  We accelerate Finance Transformation by enabling a data-driven and digital culture.
