Job Description:

This position sits under the customer engagement team within the Banking OU at Moody’s Analytics (MA). The product consultant is a consultant to help clients to resolve their business issues using Moody’s Banking Solutions, ensuring a high quality of service, collaborating with clients, implementation partners, and internal business units such as sales, customer success, and product team. Key focus of solutions will be lending and risk & finance.

Role & Key Responsibilities:

• Lead customer engagement in MA product onboarding projects with deep understanding of business and products, closely working with prime partners and clients, which includes recommend the best practice for client business requirements.
• Lead product workshops and/or proof of concepts with clients and prime partners.
• Lead prime partner enablement by assisting product training and product onboarding projects.
• Assist pre-sales on responding RFI and RFP and product presentation/demonstrations.
• Collaborate with sales/pre-sales, customer success and product teams to expand/retain business

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Requires a Bachelor’s degree (Masters a plus) in Computer Science/Engineering, Finance, Physics or a related quantitative field
• Requires experience with enterprise software development using C, C++, or Java. Oracle PL/SQL experience is a plus.
• Working experience in IT consulting firms is preferred.
• Relevant professional designations, such as CFA and FRM, are also a plus.
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) in Japanese (native level) and English (business level).
• Self-motivated, pro-active, results-oriented professional with an ability to work with minimal direction.
