Job Title: Product Owner - Entity Resolution
Location: Brussels
The Data Solutions division is the commercial data business of Moody’s Analytics, bringing together a vast catalogue of data to help business decision-makers assess risks and opportunities. Role:
As a key player in our Proprietary Data Team, the Product Owner will be responsible for maximizing the value of our Entity Resolution process and leading cross-functional teams to deliver an innovative solution that meet customer needs and drive our business forward.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define and prioritize the product backlog items based on business and customer needs, ensuring clear communication of requirements to the development team.
- Work closely with stakeholders across the organization to gather and refine requirements, and to ensure product features align with business goals.
- Monitor product progress throughout the development cycle, making adjustments as necessary to respond to feedback and changing priorities.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for the product development team, providing guidance and clarity on user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Produce documents on processes
- Extract and interpret trends from data analysis, translating these insights into clear requirements for the software development team to implement.
- Conduct individual staff meetings with direct reports if needed to address any issues. Make notes and send to manager.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in in Economics, Computer Science, Data Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Product Owner or similar role within an agile development environment.
- Strong understanding of agile methodologies, software development lifecycle, and design thinking.
- Strong communication and leadership skills, with fluency in English, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Proven track record of delivering high-quality products that meet customer needs and business objectives.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills, with a customer-centric mindset.
- Experience with agile project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence) is a plus.
- Experience with SQL, Python, Excel, and other data analysis tools.
Preferred Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience with Spark, R, or other programming languages commonly used in data analysis.
- Knowledge of machine learning techniques and their application in entity resolution.
- Familiarity with data visualization tools and techniques.
- Fluency in French is a plus.
