Title: Asst Dir-Bus Systems Analyst
Location: 7 World Trade Center, 250 Greenwich Street, New York, NY 10007
Duties: Create highly usable new screens for existing applications and manage technical appropriateness and feasibility of requirements and designs. Support business requirements activities by providing end-to-end analysis for products and initiatives concerning data requirements, data flows, data modeling, workflow context and design, and user interface designs within and across Moody's systems. Design and write specifications for new features and/or new releases according to business/client requirements. Design, build, and implement maintenance and enhancement requests for Salesforce.com and Apttus systems. Write high-quality documentation of all aspects of the systems in question, including business requirements, use cases, and Business System Concept documents. Evaluate data availability and assess the needs of the various business partners including local, regional, and global leadership to optimize the process and reporting. Develop external and cross-functional relationships and work closely with internal stakeholders to develop insights for strategic and tactical decisions. Keep clients informed and engaged throughout the entire project lifecycle. Recommend and implement centralized tools that internal teams can use to extract data/insights for daily business management in an automated manner. Responsible for periodic updates of project status to management. Provide content, high-quality documentation, and review documentation for release or new features.
Requirements: Requires a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a closely related technical field plus five (5) years of progressively responsible experience as a Business Analyst, Technical Consultant, or in a related position performing business systems development or analysis. Must have experience with the following: identifying business requirements in JIRA, creating wireframes on MS Visio, and documenting functional and low-level design; applying knowledge of software development lifecycle methodologies, including Waterfall and Agile, to build and automate test scripts; preparing traceability matrix mapping User Requirement Specification (URS) with functional design and test scripts using MS office tools; performing fit-gap analysis to develop Customer Relationship Management (CRM) solutions using Salesforce.com; configuring and customizing CRM standard objects and conducting paper map sessions to establish integrations; configuring pricing and quoting using Selectica or Apttus; and resolving data issues in CRM applications using database technologies, including SQL. Domestic and international travel required approximately 10% of the time. Destination and frequency impossible to predict.
For US-based roles only: the anticipated hiring base salary range for this position is $179,982 - $221,950/year, depending on factors such as experience, education, level, skills, and location. This range is based on a full-time position. In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for incentive compensation.
