Title: AVP-Systems Engineer

Location: 7575 Gateway Blvd, Suite 300, Newark, CA 94560

Duties: Design Scope and Charter for IT Service Governance and lead the implementation of the Service Governance Practices. Ensure the governance of stakeholders and Major Incident communication. Lead Major Incident Management for AMER region. Build, review, and maintain the best practices and drive adoption of Critical Incident Management. Design business processes for products and IT service offerings. Design policies and governance structure for effective product delivery. Measure performance of operational processes and tools. Define and assist with KPIs and critical success factors, including SLAs, OLA, and UCs, for SM processes. Develop and maintain a strategic improvement roadmap to ensure end goal stays within customer service level agreement. Lead evaluation and selection of new and emerging tools and techniques related to Service Management. Lead process improvement work and provide guidance and coaching to support teams on process documentation. Conduct monthly service governance review of product operational framework, provide benchmarks and data analytics to help business compare performance across various stats, and derive Service Improvement plans. Conduct brainstorm sessions for gap analysis, document as-is process, and design tool automation. Conduct dry runs of end-to-end process to ensure customers’ issues are managed within agreed service levels. Provide operational support for SM tools, including ServiceNow, PagerDuty, integration tools, and monitoring tools. Design and document operational production support readiness training documentation. Conduct mandatory hands-on training with all cross functional teams. Deliver onboarding session to new employees on existing and new processes. Domestic and international travel required approximately 10% of the time.

Requirements: Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management Information Systems, or a closely related field plus at least seven (7) years of experience planning and executing ITSM Framework, Business Process Improvement or Business Process Management. Full term of experience must include the following: implementing ITIL framework; using ITSM tool chain such as ServiceNow, BMC Remedy, PagerDuty, Logic Monitor, ManageEngine, Prometheus, Zenoss, SolarWinds, Nagios, or related tools; applying knowledge of Incident, Event, Problem, and Change & Release management lifecycle; implementing CMDB; using knowledge management tools (KB article, SOP, Runbook creation); working with IT environments, cloud technologies (AWS & Azure), automation toolset (Workato, Tableau, Qlik, and Automation Anywhere), and performance measurement tools; working with business capability models, ISO governance, and IT compliance methodologies; performing IT Project Management; and using workflow design tools such as Visio, SmartDraw, or LucidChart. Intermediate ITIL Certification. Domestic and international travel required approximately 10% of the time.

For US-based roles only: the anticipated hiring base salary range for this position is $168,397 to $202,650, depending on factors such as experience, education, level, skills, and location. This range is based on a full-time position. In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for incentive compensation.
