Skills and Competencies
* 10+ years’ of SME level experience managing Enterprise Linux production environment
* Expertise in Sever setup, build, deployment and maintenance administering RedHat
Enterprise, Amazon Linux and Red Hat Satellite.
* Extensive experience with Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform for patching, configuration
baseline, and deployments.
* Proven technical leadership investigating complex issues and performing corrective actions,
track record in leading major incident recovery.
* Proficiency in bash/python scripting and automation using Ansible platform
* Experience of vulnerability remediation of Linux instances employing Qualys or other
vulnerability management products
* Experience with hybrid infrastructure, including cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP) and
VmWare suite
* Knowledge of CIS L1 hardening standards.
* Highly impactful problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Experience with incident and change ITIL processes using ServiceNow or similar tool
* Ability to manage multiple priorities and respond to urgent issues effectively.

* Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Education
* RHCSA, RHCE, AWS Certified SysOps Administrator or VCP-DCV are a plus
Responsibilities
* Leads Operations Excellence for request, incident and change management perspective
meeting Service Level Objectives and Improving Customer Experience.
* Shows up as the Linux expert, lead service recovery and mitigation when major incidents
occur. Identify root cause and implement permanent solutions.
* Drive continuous improvement through the adoption of automation and orchestration.
Example - automate repetitive tasks to improve consistency
* Owns Patch Management for Linux Systems.
* Owns the Vulnerability remediation process for Linux Systems.
* Participate in on-call rotation and provide after-hours support
* Contributes to the ownership of the Linux ecosystem:
o Linux OS Server standards maintained through the in-house image factory
o Security compliance (CIS L1 Hardenings)
o Sets standards for all the aspects of Linux Server space like monitoring, backup, etc.
* Contributes to global risk & control program to de-risk the infrastructure.
* Contributes to disaster recovery procedures and exercises.
* Contributes to technology roadmaps.
* Share your knowledge, coach and mentor junior members of the team
* Collaborate with other IT staff to ensure smooth and reliable operation of software and
systems for fulfilling business objectives and processes.
* Conduct regular system audits and security assessments.
* Develop and maintain documentation for application configurations, processes, and
procedures including SoPs
* Interaction across TSG towers and other business support areas for problem escalations,
resolutions, reporting and coordination.
