Skills and Competencies

* Hands-on programming skills: knowledge and experience on statistical programming languages R, Phyton, SAS etc.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Ability to investigate and problem solve technical issues
* Ability to learn and acquire non-technical and business related business-related knowledge, like banking and accounting

Candidate is expected to have written and verbal communication skills for English and is preferred to have written and verbal communication of Mandarin or Cantonese


Education

* Major in mathematics, statistics, economics, engineering or quantitative finance

Eligible for candidates graduating in December 2025/ June 2026

Responsibilities

* Part of the Advisory Services team and work with our senior staff to deliver sophisticated risk management solutions to our clients
* Work on Moody’s Analytics products as well as bespoke advisory projects
* Includes a range of modelling and technical aspects, covering data analysis (including but not limited to data quality and coverage review), statistical modelling/analyses, solution implementation, training, presentation/PowerPoint slides preparation, ad-hoc research on market trends or regulatory topics etc
