  • Collaborate with internal teams such as product development and research to align client feedback with ongoing enhancements to data offerings
  • Manage the full sales cycle independently, from initial outreach and discovery calls through contract negotiation and onboarding
  • Present data solutions clearly and persuasively to senior-level decision -makers, including portfolio managers, analysts, and chief investment officers
  • Maintain accurate sales pipeline activity and contribute to forecasting and market intelligence through regular reporting and CRM updates

Key Qualifications & Responsibilities:

  • 5+ years’ experience working in direct business-to-business sales roles with a focus on selling data driven solutions to the asset management industry
  • Proven success in selling data solutions to asset managers, hedge funds, REITs, private equity firms, and other institutional investors, with a strong understanding of their diverse investment strategies and workflows
  • Undergraduate/first-level degree (e.g., Bachelor’s degree) required, with coursework in business, economics, finance, marketing or related fields a plus
  • Deep familiarity with data-driven investment use cases, particularly in quantitative research, portfolio construction, and risk management, and the ability to guide prospects through complex value propositions
  • Exceptional consultative selling skills, with the ability to listen to client needs, translate technical data requirements into tailored solutions, and articulate clear value alignment with our proprietary datasets
  • Track record of initiating and developing new relationships within the buy-side community; thrives in an outbound sales environment and is energized by identifying and pursuing high-potential opportunities
  • Collaborative mindset with internal stakeholders, including product, research, and engineering teams, to ensure the delivery of solutions that meet nuanced client demands
  • Strong communication and presentation capabilities, able to navigate sophisticated sales conversations with senior-level investment professionals and position data as a strategic asset
