Skills and Competencies
Experience of monitoring and analyzing incident and crisis alerts from various sources with the ability to assess and act proactively.
Experience of responding independently to incidents and crises within a complex corporate environment.
1-2 years' previous experience in a similar role or in a dynamic, fast-paced environment is required, with corporate experience in a customer-focused environment.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact, advise, influence and support people at all levels and across all regions, in a complex matrixed corporate environment.
Experience of solving complex time sensitive problems relating to proactive and reactive support to stakeholders during a crisis event.
Proven ability to collaborate with cross functional teams on a variety of projects and tasks whilst role modelling Moody’s values
Ability to create reports in Power BI is desirable but training will be available. Knowledge of monitoring tools & Crisis Management software (currently using Fusion Risk Management) would be advantageous but not essential.
Responsibilities
The Crisis Management Operations Analyst (Shift Worker) is responsible for monitoring and responding to crisis situations in real-time. This role involves working in shifts to ensure 24/7 coverage and maintaining the organization's crisis management protocols. During quiet periods there will be scope for additional operational and administrative tasks from the wider CRR department.
Shift Worker: Willingness to work in scheduled 8-hour shifts (weekdays, weekends and holidays) flexibility will be required to react where required (team coverage/ training etc.) overtime on an exception basis.
Hybrid position: the role will require attendance to office at least once a week.
Team Support: The Crisis Management Operations Analyst will be part of a larger crisis management team working closely with GBR Managers and will receive ongoing mentoring, support and training.
Monitoring: Continuously monitor communication channels (team mailbox, Teams channels, Crisis 24 alerts) for potential crises across all Moody’s locations.
Incident Recognition & Escalation: Promptly identify and escalate incidents to the local Building Incident Management team or Crisis Management Team.
Alerting: Notify responders and execute alerts via Moody’s Emergency Notification System (Send Word Now).
Response: Follow protocols during emergencies and respond to queries/escalations promptly.
Documentation: Maintain detailed incident records, contribute to Situation Reports and Post Incident Reviews, and manage Crisis Management documentation and compliance.
Collaboration: Coordinate with regional GBR team members and other experts (Corporate Security, TSG, Communications) for a coordinated response.
Training: Participate in and support regular training sessions and exercises and assist with training material preparation.
Reporting: Maintain various reports, including project tracking, location status, and contributions to Key Risk Indicators and Corporate Score Cards.
