This role is responsible for maintaining, documenting and improving databases that are made available online to subscribers, and for responding to and assisting clients with their data-related requests.
Please note, bilingual proficiency is highly beneficial for this role in either of the following languages: Polish, Lithuanian, Latvian, German, Italian, Spanish or French.
Responsibilities:
- Manage, enhance, and validate date, cross-examining information with public records and other credible sources, ensuring timely and accurate availability to subscribers.
- Integrate new datasets or merge existing ones into Moody's platform, ensuring smooth integration without compromising data quality.
- Implement control methods to improve data quality, prioritizing accuracy and consistency.
- Respond to client inquiries indirectly, providing timely and comprehensive solutions.
- Improve existing processes and procedures to enhance the speed and accuracy of our updates.
- Provide top quality documentation, such as internal procedures and any information regarding the collection methods, definitions, and frequently asked questions.
- Stay informed about the latest in data collection and verification technologies, exploring new data sources, and refining data verification and integration processes for enhanced efficiency.
- Assist and support internal and external clients in accessing our data.
Qualifications:
- Undergraduate or advanced degree with course work in economics, finance, statistics, or related fields preferred.
- European language speaker would be preferred e.g. Polish, Lithuanian, Latvian, German, Italian, Spanish or French
- 2+ years of work experience in this sector or other related fields.
- Proficiency in English is required, both written and spoken.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (word, outlook, excel etc.)
- Strong organizational skills with a keen eye for detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, adapt to shifting priorities, and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Programming skills are beneficial (Power BI, Excel proficiency, Salesforce)
- Self-motivated, dependable, and proactive, with the ability to work independently and take the initiative when necessary.
- The ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.
- Located a commutable distance to the Salford office.
