- Minimum 10 years’ enterprise sales or relationship-management success within Australian financial services, with established networks at Tier 1 banks.
- Exceptional C-level relationship-building, consultative selling and contract-negotiation skills.
- Preferred knowledge of credit, risk, capital-markets or regulatory workflows-and the ability to translate APRA/ASIC requirements into Moody’s solutions.

- Excellent communication-listening, presenting and writing-and the confidence to influence senior external and internal stakeholders.
- High initiative, resilience and the ability to work independently while fostering teamwork in a matrix environment.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, economics or a related field (post-graduate finance or risk qualification advantageous).
Responsibilities
- Own and expand relationships with Australia’s Tier 1 banks and FIs-spanning board and C-suite stakeholders-and set multi-year account strategies that align with each client’s priorities.
- Retain and grow revenue by cross-selling and up-selling the full Moody’s Analytics suite (credit, ESG, KYC/AML, regulatory reporting, data & analytics).
- Lead the virtual account team (Sales, Product, Specialists, Finance, Legal) through complex sales cycles-identifying new use-cases, negotiating commercial terms and closing enterprise agreements.
- Position Moody’s insights in the context of local regulatory and industry trends such as automation, climate risk and digitized credit workflows.
- Deliver accurate forecasting and client feedback to senior leadership; surface cross-business leads where appropriate.
- Travel (~50 %) within Australia and, when required, to regional hubs to strengthen senior relationships and align global strategy.
