Role/Responsibilities:

The Strategic Programs & Op Associate - Incentive Design & Governance is a key business partner to our field sales organization and reports to the Director, Incentive Design & Governance. This role is part of the Incentive Design & Governance team and will be responsible for providing support in the design, development and assessment of compensation programs for the global Moody’s Analytics sales organization. The team requires analysis and insight over different planning horizons and at multiple levels of extraction.

The ideal candidate for this role is expected to have outstanding analytical, communication and problem-solving skills, and must be able to synthesize high volumes of information and data to support a rapidly changing organization. Specifically, the role will be part of a team that provides strategic and operational compensation guidance to the leadership of the field sales organization. Additionally, they will have the technical skills to develop Tableau/Power BI dashboards following industry best practices, the data know-how to optimize the underlying data model, and perform the financial modelling of key initiatives. Attention to detail paired with mindfulness of the big picture is essential for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities

Work with Sales to develop incentive plans along with sales capacity and quota models

Develop projections for compensation strategies, for annual planning cycles as well as well as SPIFs and other short-term programs

Create communication for SPIFs and other compensation related communication

Assist with commission forecasting

Perform additional finance functions and analysis as needed to support business needs

Support the design and implementation of sales compensation plans, policies, and processes each sales year (or as needed) to support business objectives

Qualifications :

Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or related field

Highly detailed driven with emphasis on accuracy

Ability to work both independently and within a team environment

Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills with the ability to manage multiple projects to deadlines

Excellent business communication and ability to synthesize data into actionable recommendations

Ability to seek out information and provide quality advice 3+ years of experience working in a sales compensation, sales operations, or finance related function

Proficiency in use of MS Office. Strong Excel required (xlookup, pivot tables, formulas, etc.)
