The Role

Moody’s is seeking a passionate Graphic Design Strategist to join our creative team. This role involves assisting in the development of designs across various digital and print materials, websites, social media graphics, event graphics, and marketing collateral.

The Graphic Designer strategist should have a passion for design and will bring it to life by thinking outside the box and collaborating seamlessly with our talented design, video, data viz and social media teams as well as with our strategic internal business partners. Your creative touch will be paramount in ensuring global consistency for Moody’s look and feel, all while upholding our brand standards and aligning with our strategic business goals.

The ideal candidate will have strong written and verbal communication skills, an eye for detail, and a strong eagerness to grow and develop in the field of graphic design. Strong project management skills and the ability to multitask are beneficial.

Skills and Competencies

  • Highly experienced with Adobe Creative Cloud applications.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)
  • Strong proficiency in PowerPoint design and conceptual design, with a proven ability to create visually compelling presentations that effectively communicate complex concepts and ideas.
  • Comprehensive understanding of both print and digital design is essential. This includes knowledge of typography, layout, color theory, and image editing.
  • Up to 5 years’ experience in design and branding, preferably in Corporate and/or Agency experience.
  • Strong written and communication skills, with high English proficiency.
  • Solid experience with brand identity, corporate presentations, digital graphic execution.
  • Ability to manage work across multiple projects simultaneously, spanning varying deadlines.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to articulate design concepts and rationale to stakeholders at all levels.
  • A proactive and solution-oriented mindset, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • A flair for creativity and innovation that generate original ideas that align with the brand vision and identity.
  • Web design/development experience is preferred.
  • Some experience with GenAI tools such as ChatGPT, Midjourney, Adobe Firefly, Jasper etc. to deliver real-world creative is preferred.
  • Some experience with GenAI techniques such as prompting is preferred.

Education

A bachelor's degree in graphic design or a related field.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop creative materials including PowerPoint presentations, social media graphics, brochures, print / digital ads and various marketing materials.
  • Present work to the creative team / internal clients, bringing a strong point of view.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing and product development to create engaging visual content that enhances user experience and drives engagement.
  • Design graphic content for our websites and manage the image library.
  • Advocate for groundbreaking innovation and efficiency enhancements through the utilization of AI (Artificial Intelligence).
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize accordingly.
  • Assist with overall corporate brand governance across all visual communications to ensure global consistency.
