Job Role: Director or Senior Director (depending on experience)
Reports to: Head of Industry Practice Group - Europe & Africa

Department
Global Sales serving customers across banking, insurance, asset management, corporate, professional services and government sectors across over 50 countries. The Industry Practice Group is comprised of practitioners, former regulators and subject matter experts, specializing in domains such as lending, underwriting, climate risk, financial crime compliance, third-party due diligence, generative AI and supply chain resiliency. Industry Practice Leads are responsible for advising existing and prospective customers across a broad range of workflows including lending, underwriting, climate risk, master data management, know your customer, financial crime compliance, third-party risk management and client lifecycle management. Practice Leads also collaborates in the creation of a new product offering, its value proposition and architecture, and facilitates market feedback using rapid learning approach to product development. Industry Practice Leads interface with internal stakeholders such as product, research, partnerships, advisory, and customer success teams to align Moody’s solutions to the industry challenges.

Job Description

Industry Practice Lead are focused on three main areas of activity

  • Driving sales and customer engagement: serve as a trusted advisor to customers; proactively work with prospective clients through the sales process, providing technical assistance and guidance as required; use industry best practice to elevate the impact of Request for Proposal (RFP) and Proof of Concept (POC) processes in the sales cycle, design market outreach strategy, conduct training sessions on customer use cases, our solution set and emerging trends; serve as an coach and expert to product consultants, sales professionals and customer success teams.
  • Thought leadership & industry engagement: develop and maintain industry stakeholder relationships; speak at industry events; publish thought leadership; maintain social media engagement.
  • Market feedback: translate emerging market themes and regulatory requirements into product requirements to future proof our solutions; identify valuable white space; build business case for product development and improvement.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrable sense of Supply Chain risk management (SCRM) best practices in the corporate sector (Energy, Industrials or TMT sectors preferable).
  • SCRM domain expertise spanning: program design, stakeholder engagement, technology & data needs, & regulatory requirements
  • 10-15+ years of experience in relevant roles
  • Ability to interact with senior level stakeholders, with a proven industry network
  • Bachelor’s degree required with further, relevant qualifications beneficial
  • Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills.
  • Travel within region required.
