The Moody's Analytics engineering team is looking for a forward-thinking software engineer who will work on a variety of projects. You will be at the very center of transforming our organization and working to fundamentally shift the way we do business by leveraging traditional technologies, and the latest in artificial intelligence and generative models. Your domain of expertise will reach from back-end to brain-melting integrations, to web, to the next technology that becomes the new best way to push Moody's forward. Technology moves quickly and so do we, so the ideal candidate is creative and ready to help forge new paths as part of a team focused on serving the needs of some of the largest organizations in the world with excellent, modern software.

- Design, build, and own various services, machine learning solutions and web frontends - from their conception to production and maintenance
- Create simple, clean, testable code to power new product features, as well as refactor and improve existing code when things get a little too hairy
- Take ownership of projects and oversee them with minimal direction
What you'll need:
- Skills with RDBMS (Postgres, MySQL or similar) and document based (NoSQL) data stores (MongoDB or similar)
- Skills in Python and TypeScript - experience with more functionally flavored languages is a plus (Clojure, Haskell)
- Experience with popular front-end frameworks (Angular, React, Vue, etc.)
- Experience with training and deploying machine learning models is a plus.
- Having any measure of DevOps experience is a plus (Docker, Kubernetes, etc)

For US-based roles only: the anticipated hiring base salary range for this position is $94,800.00 - $137,400.00, depending on factors such as experience, education, level, skills, and location. This range is based on a full-time position. In addition to base salary, this role may be eligible for a completion bonus. Moody’s also offers insurance and a discounted employee stock purchase plan for limited duration employees.
