Skills and Competencies

  • 3+ years of in depth accounting experience (preferably in a large multi-national company or in a major accounting firm)
  • Extensive project management experience, particularly in an international setting, with strong focus on technology and innovation.
  • End to end knowledge of accounting processes, accounting principles (eg: IFRS, US GAAP)
  • Good knowledge of major financial systems, Microsoft Office and advance excel. Evidence of use of digital tools and process improvement.
  • Excellent organisational, communication and use of initiative, with ability to foster collaboration and teamwork.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, adapting to new challenges and opportunities.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent).
  • ACA/ACCA/CPA/PMP or equivalent qualified preferred


Responsibilities

  • Define project scopes, objectives, and deliverables that align with business goals, focusing on measurable outcome and innovative solutions.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans to monitor project timelines and milestones. Facilitate regular meetings, collaborating with international teams to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget and fostering a culture of teamwork and shared success.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks, implementing contingency plans to address potential challenges.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Accounting, Legal, Tax, Payroll, and various other teams to establish best practices, as well as drive on-going process refinement to improve the efficiency and accuracy of reporting and help create a best-in-class end to end reporting.
  • Coordinate and lead process improvement initiatives.
  • Initiates research and prepares financial analysis for management.
  • Identifies, researches, and resolves operational and technical accounting issues through regular and special analysis to ensure proper accounting.
  • Proactively performs ad-hoc account analyses, advise journal entries and raises issues on a timely basis.

Annual base salary gross: 42,100 EUR to 67,500 EUR. Applicable to Lithuania candidates: The base salary range represents the low and high end of the Moody’s salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as candidate’s qualifications, skills, and competencies. The salary is one component of Moody’s total compensation package for employees. Other rewards and benefits include the following: Medical, Personal Accident, Life Insurance and Time Off.
