Skills and Competencies
- 5+ years of experience in HRIS (Workday, SuccessFactors, Oracle) system modules, Employee Central, Platform, Compensation, Position management, etc., with the ability to configure and customize system settings.
- Comprehensive understanding of HRIS platforms and the System Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
- Proven experience in project management, including requirement gathering, implementation, user adoption and managing client expectations.
- Strong technical aptitude with the ability to resolve complex system issues and manage escalations.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build and maintain strategic relationships.
- Experience in vendor management and negotiating system enhancements.
- Familiarity with HR processes and workflows, and the ability to align systems with organizational objectives.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and a proactive approach to system improvements.
- Knowledge of HR processes, policies, and compliance requirements.
**Preferred Skills:**
- Certifications in HRIS platforms (e.g., Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle) and project management (e.g., PMP, Agile).
- Experience in managing large-scale HRIS implementations or upgrades.
- Knowledge of data security and compliance requirements related to HR systems.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
Responsibilities
We are seeking a highly skilled, deep subject matter expert and strategic HRIS Manager to oversee various modules of our organization's digital people ecosystem. This role is critical in ensuring optimal system performance, leading user experience, advancing AI capabilities, ensuring data accuracy and adhering to regulatory/compliance standards globally while driving continuous improvements and scalability to support organizational growth. The HRIS Manager will lead system-specific projects, coordinate with vendors and stakeholders, and maintain strong relationships to ensure the HRIS aligns with the company’s strategic objectives and the needs of our Centers of Excellence (COEs).
Key Responsibilities:
1. System Oversight & Strategic Planning:
- Oversee the configuration, optimization, and day-to-day maintenance of HRIS platforms to align with organizational goals, incorporating agile best practices for continuous improvement to support COEs.
- Develop and execute strategic plans for system improvements, maintenance, and scalability to support organizational growth.
- Continuously assess HRIS capabilities, system performance and proactively address areas for improvement through iterative feedback.
- Make informed decisions on system enhancements and integrations that align with the company’s strategic goals.
2. Release Management:
- Plan, schedule, and oversee the deployment of new releases specific to the assigned product/module.
- Ensure updates are aligned with organizational needs and minimize disruptions to HR operations.
- Collaborate with vendors, IT, and internal stakeholders to ensure seamless implementations and communicate changes effectively across the organization.
3. Project Leadership:
- Lead system-specific projects from planning through execution, including requirement gathering, system selection, and overseeing implementation teams.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure successful transitions and user adoption.
- Ensure new system functionalities/modules align with business objectives and address COE needs.
- Help guide junior members on the team
4. Technical Support Management:
- Oversee the HRIS team’s technical support for system users, ensuring high-quality resolution of issues.
- Manage escalation processes and continuously improve support operations to enhance user satisfaction.
- Ensure all support meets Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and COE requirements with minimal supervision.
5. Vendor & Stakeholder Relationship Management:
- Maintain strong, strategic relationships with system vendors and internal COEs.
- Resolve high-level issues and collaborate on system enhancements to meet evolving organizational needs.
- Serve as the primary liaison, aligning system capabilities with current and future business strategies.
6. System Development Lifecycle (SDLC):
- Ensure effective management of customizations and developments within the HRIS platform.
- Oversee requirements gathering, design, development, testing, and deployment of system enhancements.
- Ensure all developments meet user needs and align with organizational objectives and SDLC cycle.
7. System Module Development & Communication:
- Focus on the development of specific system modules, addressing COE pain points and aligning with organizational direction.
- Effectively communicate current and future system functionalities to stakeholders to ensure alignment with COE needs.
8. Team Development and Mentorship
- Mentor a team of HRIS professionals, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented environment with an agile mindset.
- Delegate effectively, ensuring team resources are utilized efficiently to deliver high-quality, agile results

For US-based roles only: the anticipated hiring base salary range for this position is $112,000.00 - $162,400.00, depending on factors such as experience, education, level, skills, and location. This range is based on a full-time position. In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for incentive compensation.
