The Global Mobility Specialist is responsible for managing assignments, immigration and relocations for Moody’s employees in EMEA & APAC regions. This role will act as the main point-of-contact for assignees, the People team, and business leaders and support the end-to-end service delivery of mobility and immigration services.

  • Administer domestic and international assignment programs and policies that meet business objectives, assist in development of assignment compensation, and prepare cost projections for business leaders; Assist with assignment allowance reviews.
  • Assist in development of relocation packages for new & existing employees and prepare relocation package estimates for business leaders.
  • Draft offer of relocation assistance letters and other required assignment related documentation.
  • Partner with immigration firm, employees, and the business in procuring and maintaining company sponsored work visas for authorized new hires and existing employees in the region; Act as an intermediary between TA and immigration counsel, requesting immigration assessment/guidance for candidates, as needed.
  • Partner with vendors to facilitate relocation including household goods, taxation and destination services.
  • Partner with internal payroll and finance teams and external providers to coordinate year-end payroll reporting and tax equalization processes.
  • Audit vendor invoices to ensure accuracy and compliance to programs and coordinate payments.
  • Coordinate with finance teams payments of estimated taxes on behalf of assignees.
  • Participate in onboarding and training of new team members.
  • Monitor mobility policies and practices to ensure compliance with global legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Partner with Global Mobility leadership to develop and improve programs, policies and administration of the mobility process to meet business needs.
  • Advise new & existing employees on policy and process changes as appropriate.
  • Support the development and continuous improvement of the Global Mobility function by providing input to develop, govern and maintain Global Mobility policies.
  • Update Global Mobility metrics and reports.
  • Maintain the process for tracking transfers and producing metrics for key stakeholders.
  • Ensure that all assignments, immigration and relocation cases remain within acceptable policy parameters and escalate any exceptions if required; liaise with Global Mobility leadership on escalations and issue resolution.
  • Perform other duties and special projects as needed.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
  • 3+ years of customer service experience; experience working in Human Resources preferred.
  • Experience with immigration programs and administration specifically in the area of Visa/Work Permit filings a plus.
  • Knowledge or experience with international assignment taxation matters including year-end tax reconciliations a plus.
  • Excellent written & verbal communication, attention to detail, customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work productively both independently and as an integral member of cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to multi-task, work under ambiguity, manage change and be proactive in a dynamic environment.
  • Ability to work with and learn from individuals from other countries, cultures and disciplines.
  • Strong analytical, problem solving skills.
  • Competency required with MS Office software suite including Excel and PowerPoint.

Annual base salary gross: Max 25,600 Euro to Max 40,800 Euro Applicable to Lithuania candidates: The base salary range represents the low and high end of the Moody’s salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as candidate’s qualifications, skills, and competencies. The salary is one component of Moody’s total compensation package for employees. Other rewards and benefits include the following: Medical, Personal Accident, Life Insurance and Time Off.
