Are you ready to take on a dynamic leadership role in driving sales excellence for a specialized set of products or services? As the Sales Manager for our Pulse inside sales team, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the team's success by overseeing day-to-day activities, providing expert support to sales reps, and delivering seamless service to clients.


  • Oversee the day-to-day activities for the Pulse inside sales team, ensuring smooth operations and optimal performance.

  • Provide expert support to sales reps, acting as a key point of contact for day-to-day issues and questions.

  • Ensure key processes and procedures are adhered to, delivering seamless service to clients and improving operational effectiveness.

  • Identify knowledge gaps within the team and make recommendations for training to address gaps and support individual development.

  • Conduct ad-hoc training sessions to update the team on performance issues and support new business initiatives.

  • Keep abreast of market trends and ensure the team is informed on key issues relevant to Moody's Analytics and its clients.

  • Provide performance reporting for management on sales activity and achievement.

  • Ensure the team meets or exceeds annual sales goals and targets aligned with the company's vision and objectives.

  • Conduct video demos of the product to qualified prospects


  • Bachelor's degree in business, economics, finance, marketing, or related fields

  • 1-3 years of experience in direct business-to-business sales

  • Previous supervisory experience preferred

  • Ability to drive team performance and inspire individuals

  • Experience in training staff and delivering presentations is advantageous

  • Results-driven with a track record of achieving/exceeding targets

  • Strong communication skills and ability to convey important messages to clients

  • Ability to work independently and within a team with attention to detail

  • Creative problem-solving skills and ability to develop solutions
