Role:

In this role you, will be a part of a team that is responsible for the day to day operations surrounding the Moody’s Analytics KYC GRID Database. This role is responsible for maintaining, documenting and improving the Finnish data in the Nordic databases that are made available online to subscribers, and for responding to and assisting clients with their data-related requests.

Responsibilities:

  • Collect, analyze and insert/update Politically Exposed Persons (PEP) data in the database according to the business process.
  • Perform regular PEP data quality controls to ensure data accuracy.
  • Participate in the maintenance of the company's databases that are available online to subscribers in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Evaluating online sources of data for web scraping and manual aggregation
  • Researching pertinent regulations and utilize findings to build requirements for data aggregation
  • Support internal and external clients in accessing our data with questions on coverage, scope, quality, sourcing, etc.
  • Participate in improve existing processes and procedures to enhance the speed and accuracy of our updates.
  • Provide top quality documentation, such as internal procedures and any information regarding the collection methods, definitions, and frequently asked questions.
  • Communicate effectively and develop excellent working relationships with colleagues within Operations.


Qualifications:

  • Superb analytical skills and persistence in problem solving.
  • The ability and willingness to take personal responsibility for tasks.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to learn quickly.
  • Fluent in both spoken and written Finnish and English. Proficiency in Swedish and other Nordic languages is a plus.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated creativity, flexibility, enthusiasm and willingness to learn.
  • Working knowledge of Windows based software (Excel, Access, Word, etc.).
  • Basic knowledge of Anti Money Laundering (AML) is a plus.
  • Experience of working with the public sector in Finland is a plus.
  • Being a Finnish national is a plus.
  • Experience with investigative journalism is a plus.
