This role is responsible for performing investigations, sourcing official company data & documents from official sources for KYC/KYB purposes (as requested by customers and internal teams), assisting internal and external customers with their related requests, conducting data cleanse and matching jobs, communicating to official sources (Registers) to expand our knowledge and coverage. Additionally, working closely with managers on ongoing projects and supporting the team by providing guidance on product/coverage related topics.

Responsibilities:

  • Handle daily document and data sourcing requests (BCS/KYB Assists) as per existing processes and team best practices and respond to client requests related to those
  • Ensure quality and SLA requirements are fulfilled and team targets are met
  • Support other team members with the research for complex customer BCS/KYB Assists requests
  • Improve existing processes and procedures to enhance the speed and accuracy of our updates.
  • Conduct regular extended research on document/data availability in official sources such as the Company and Commercial registers worldwide to help continuously expand our offering
  • Provide top quality documentation on internal procedures and any information regarding the collection methods, source specifics, document content and data availability
  • Engage in regular review and update of our internal knowledge base and product documentation
  • Assist and support internal and external clients by providing guidance and specific knowledge/expertise on product/country specific topics
  • Conduct data matching/cleanse jobs as requested and defined by internal processes
  • Support the team and management by coordinating, overseeing and advising on Managed Service projects and daily activities
  • Actively participate in the New Hire onboarding and side-by-side sessions
  • Provide support and guidance to junior staff
  • Work with managers on problem solving and further developing the group and efficiencies within the group.
  • Take initiative and handle special projects in coordination with other groups and management.

Qualifications and Personal Attributes:

  • Possession of an undergraduate or advanced degree, preferably with coursework in related fields, is highly advantageous
  • A minimum of 3 years of professional experience in this sector or in similar fields
  • Proficiency in both English and German languages, any additional language is considered a great benefit
  • Proficient in using Windows-based software such as Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.
  • Experience with CRM tools is plus
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • A strong desire to excel and contribute effectively to a dynamic team
  • Excellent analytical skills and a persistent approach to problem-solving
  • A keen eye for detail, coupled with the ability to learn new concepts quickly
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Creativity, adaptability, enthusiasm, and a keen willingness to learn
  • Prior exposure to the financial industry, banking, and/or capital markets will be beneficial; Knowledge of KYC/KYB processes and AML regulations is a plus.

Annual base salary gross: €35,200. Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as candidate’s qualifications, skills, and competencies. The salary is one component of Moody’s total compensation package for employees.
