Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience with the latest Oracle database versions and Databricks, particularly in a large enterprise environment. You will be responsible for designing, developing, optimizing, and maintaining complex SQL and PL/SQL solutions to support business analysis and data transformations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop advanced PL/SQL packages, procedures, and triggers for high-volume transactional systems.
  • Write and optimize complex SQL queries for efficient data retrieval and manipulation.
  • Leverage Oracle analytical functions, collections, and advanced features to build high-performance solutions.
  • Perform query performance tuning using optimizer hints and execution plan analysis.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support application development and data integration.
  • Work within large-scale enterprise database systems, ensuring high availability and data integrity.
  • Provide support for database design, schema management, and data modeling activities.
  • Document technical specifications, procedures, and best practices.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5–6 years of hands-on experience with Oracle Database (latest versions preferred).
  • Proven experience working in large-scale enterprise database environments.
  • Strong expertise in SQL and PL/SQL programming, including the ability to write complex logic and efficient code.
  • In-depth understanding of Oracle analytical functions, collections, and advanced PL/SQL features.
  • Solid knowledge and hands-on experience in query tuning using optimizer hints.
  • Experience with Python and HTML for scripting and integration tasks.
  • Experience with DataBricks.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
