Sr. Software Engineer

Job Description:

Predictive Analytics Organization Unit builds products in the Quantitative Credit Risk Assessment space, helps Financial Institutions like Banks, Insurance and Asset Management companies make better decisions. You will be part of the development team working on building our Flagship EDFX product providing credit risk measures on over 500 million public and private global companies. You will be building responsive web applications, high performance API platform backed by huge volume of structured and unstructured data. You will have opportunity to work in an agile environment working on latest serverless technologies and solving business challenges.

We are seeking software engineers with experience in developing responsive web applications, REST API backed by large-scale datasets. Looking for engineers who are enthusiastic about taking up new business challenges and can contribute towards full-stack development. We encourage engineers with fresh ideas who can learn and introduce new technologies in solving business problems. Ability to communicate and collaborate well with the global development and product teams is critical to success of the project.

Responsibilities

• Build scalable responsive Web Applications using Angular as per the UX designs supporting localization
• Build high-performing Services layer using Python, FastAPI, AWS Lambda, SQS etc
• Build Serverless applications using AWS cloud native technologies
• Build GenAI powered features and applications leveraging Langchain, RAG and other frameworks
• Collaborate with Product teams to understand the customer requirements, provide accurate estimates and adhere to the project deadlines
• Build Unit Tests and integrate with the CI/CD pipelines
• Participate in all scrum team activities and work closely with peers to achieve continuous improvement
• Participate in grooming/design forums to provide recommendations; incorporate security requirements into design; provide input to information/data flow and understand and comply with architectural standards in all phases
• Participate in code reviews and ensure that all solutions are aligned to pre-defined architectural specifications; identify/troubleshoot application code-related issues
• Identify and embrace new technologies to enhance the customer experience, improve the platform stability, scalability and availability
• Collaborate with global teams Development, QA, DevOps, Program Management teams to successfully deliver projects

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or relevant field
• 5+ years of experience in software engineering in Object Oriented Programming using Python/.NET/Java
• 2+ Years of Web development using Angular/React/TypeScript
• Proficient in SQL and experience accessing data from SQL Server, Postgres etc
• Experience with AWS technologies like Lambda, SQS, S3, AWS Gateway
• Knowledge of NoSQL Technologies like DynamoDB/MongoDB
• Strong knowledge of HTML / CSS (including styled-components and SCSS)
• Experience with common front-end development tools (such as Babel, Webpack, and NPM)
• Familiarity with modern front-end build pipelines, tools, CI/CD concepts.
• Proficiency in Git, including the ability to evaluate and maintain the codebase during code reviews via GitHub Pull Requests.
• Familiarity with GenAI models, Langchain, RAG frameworks is preferred
