Skills and Competencies

  • Craft and oversee detailed project plans that marry the finance organization's strategic objectives with clear, actionable steps. This involves setting project objectives, timelines, milestones, resource needs, and identifying potential risks.
  • Stakeholder Management: Cultivate robust relationships with essential stakeholders, including finance leadership and other departments, ensuring clarity, commitment, and backing for strategic initiatives.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to navigate complex project challenges.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and quality.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and prioritize workload based on management direction.

  • Knowledgeable with Microsoft Office applications (Project, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, SharePoint, Visio)

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, Business, Accounting, Management or a related field.
  • PMP Certification preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

The Senior Delivery Manager is responsible for overseeing the end-to-end delivery of fintech projects, ensuring they meet quality, scope, and timeline requirements. This role involves leading cross-functional teams, including People, Technology Services, and various Finance departments to achieve project goals. The manager is also tasked with managing stakeholder relationships and ensuring effective communication throughout the project lifecycle. Additionally, they identify and mitigate risks to ensure successful project outcomes and continuously improve project delivery processes and methodologies.

The role involves managing multiple complex projects simultaneously, each with its own set of challenges and requirements. The Senior Delivery Manager must navigate these complexities to deliver high-quality results on time and within budget. The scope of duties includes strategic planning, resource allocation, risk management, and performance monitoring. The complexity of the role is heightened by the need to coordinate efforts across various departments and ensure alignment with organizational goals.

The Senior Delivery Manager operates with a high level of autonomy, making independent decisions regarding project management and delivery. They are expected to take initiative, solve problems proactively, and drive projects to successful completion with minimal supervision.
