We’re looking for a Tech Ops Manager to join Passfort, which is part of Moody’s Analytics fast growing KYC Unit.

The Tech Ops Manager will work closely with the Director of Operations, supporting on initiatives relating to the software development lifecycle process, planning and budgeting, metrics availability, and knowledge management.

Your main focus will be improving the productivity and delivery of the development teams. We’re looking for someone who will get stuck in and seek out inefficiencies in the development organisation with a keen mind on how to improve and streamline. This role will be pivotal to the success of scaling our rapidly growing teams, driving the improvement of processes and tools that will ensure that we continue to deliver in high quality.


  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product, engineering, design, QA and customer facing teams to develop, improve, implement and educate on software development related processes and workflows.
  • Identify key metrics and work with SMEs to build and maintain our internal reporting function.
  • Drive OKR and other planning related processes, across all teams.
  • Create and maintain documentation for software development related processes and workflows, ensuring our teams understand and adhere to it.
  • Identify areas for process improvement and implement changes as needed.
  • Define communication channels between our development teams and internal stakeholders.
  • Support team expansion, identifying areas to improve the onboarding experience.
  • Facilitate team ceremonies and collaboration, advocate for best practice.
  • Drive engagement, including improving our knowledge management.
  • Assist with our all hands cadence and structure.
  • Support the Director of Operations with initiatives as needed

Qualifications and skills

  • 5+ years of experience in operations, business operations, agile coach, product management or other related operations roles
  • Self starter, comfortable working in a new, open, sometimes ambiguous area and being creative with how to approach it.
  • Experience with data analytics tooling, such as Heap or Tableau
  • Strong communication and storytelling skills, with experience in facilitating workshops.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
  • Great operational and analytical mindset, and experience improving / streamlining processes.
  • Ability to drive cross-functional collaboration to achieve alignment.
  • Great at building rapport, developing strong relationships, and mentoring junior team members.
  • Excellent organisational and project management skills.
  • Understanding of software development concepts, principles and practices.

Preferred but not mandatory

  • Experience with software development and collaboration tools such as Jira, Dovetail, Heap, and Productboard
